- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I will try to be brief. My daughter had her throat swabbed to look for strep on April 14 after being very sick and her pediatrician's office being closed over the easter weekend. Was told once the results came in they would call asap. I never heard anything and assumed she was clear from strep as they said they wouldn't call if it was negative. 10 DAYS LATER I received a phone call to waste my time and come in. Couldn't give any results over the phone of course to charge for the visit. Turns out she did have strep and the tests results were in 7 DAYS before I was called. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. they had no excuse to give me. No explanation why no one contacted me sooner. Luckily I went to her pediatrician who is a REAL doctor days earlier and got antibiotics. Had I not, that could have put her life in jeopardy as strep throat can turn out to be life threatening if left untreated.by Jp DJanuary 28, 2017
