  Pharmacy has poor customer service. Extremely long wait to have my prescription filled. I usually use a privately owned local pharmacy with great customer service but since I was already at Costco, I decided to just get my prescriptions filled there. I got a slip saying to come back in an hour so I did my shopping. Ended up waiting 45 min longer and then prescription still not ready, I had to go back to work and return later in the day to get the prescription. I ended up not needing one of the prescriptions anyway and asked if I could return it. The pharmacist gave me an extremely hard time about returning the prescription. Costco in general has a very liberal return policy but that is not the case with prescriptions. I understand that the medication is now no longer resalable even though it was never opened. Costco has been known to accept open and rotting food items without any discussion but the pharmacist kept accusing me of poor judgement in filling out a prescription I didn't need as well as he should be charging my doctor for prescribing it. If he just told me that he couldn't accept the return I would have accepted it. But after a 10 minute lecture, he grudgingly returned the $30 prescription but now I am very reluctant to have any new prescriptions filled there. I only have to go back because they have my refills on file there.
